Kreg have become famous for their self-adjusting clamping, this technology has been worked into their bar clamps to allow a larger clamping capacity. As with other bar clamps, slide the clamp heads towards the workpiece or other clamp head, and squeeze the handle, clamping up at the same consistent pre-set pressure. A quick adjustment of pressure is done by way of a grub screw to achieve a delicate grip, or a more aggressive grip. The heavy duty steel construction will stand up to years of use.
