Drawing a curve or arc is not always the easiest of things, especially when it needs to look good, as a template or example. Using the bed rule makes this process easier, just mark the points and bend the rule to meet these and draw the line. Features metric markings on either side, one side from zero to 40cm, and the other measures the centre with zero being in the centre.
