The Arbortech TURBOPlane is a universal wood shaping blade that can be used to create different shapes, profiles and finishes.
It can be used flat to create large level surfaces, or used at angles to provide shallow cuts for fine shaping, planing and sculpting, Rapid freehand wood sculpting, planing and trimming.
It leaves a smooth finish requiring minimal sanding, has excellent control and balance, can shave wood away for fast shaping and carving. All of these making it an outstanding choice for free-formed convex and concave shapes.
Suits 100mm (4”) and 115mm (4-1/2”) angle grinders, its Tungsten Carbide teeth for long blade life, which can be easily re-sharpened with a small diamond lap stone, each having a wide cutting edge per tooth, precision machined from solid steel. Different arbors are catered for by the reducer with a 16mm arbor, with the Turboplane itself having a 22mm arbor.
Will attach to most standard 100mm (4") or 115mm (4 1/2") grinders that have a M14 Spindle Thread. M10 Spindle Threads would require the use of an Adaptor Kit (ARB-MIN017) sold separately.
