"Calvin Cobb - Radio Woodworker!" is likely to be the first ever Woodworking Novel. A screwball comedy set in 1937, the story follows a woodworker who heads the U.S. government's agricultural "Broadcast Research" division. Calvin works alongside 4 women (all injured in WWI) who are interested in developing the world's first supercomputer while Calvin is more interested in woodworkingand in particular the female host of the radio program "Homemaker Chats."
