Twenty six (26) precision machined 2-sided High Speed Steel (HSS) blades are fitted to the head as standard and will easily cope with most timbers. Upgrading to the solid Carbide blades mean longer life overall, and worth considering when its time to make a full blade change. HSS are generally sharper then the carbide blades, but will wear quicker, so working our the right blade for you, is all going to depend on how much work you will be doing, and what timber you're using.

Maximum cut depth up to 3mm for up to 151 mm wide and 1.0-1.5 mm up to 330 mm wide (depending on timber). Less is more, for a finer finish and better wear and tear on your machine.
Dust extraction is required for this machine to remove the build-up of saw dust around the cutter head. The use of a 'shop-vac' or 2HP dust collector is the most effective method.
