Whether cutting turning blanks, roughing out components for furniture before carving and sanding, slicing veneers or anything in between, Carbatec's new 19" Capacity bandsaw has the features and power to do it and with a high degree of ease and accuracy.
It has been designed from the bottom up from the beefy 2HP motor, the large table adjustment handles which are conveniently positioned so not to knock is pinch fingers or hands when making table changes.
There are two 100mm dust ports located for efficient dust extraction, and have grills fitted to prevent accidental injury, couple this with a lower compartment for tool and blade storage. Two viewing windows make blade tracking and tensioning possible while the machine is running, the door micro switching prevents the motor from being switched on while the doors are opened, so the windows allow adjustments not previously possible.
The blade guides are double roller bearings providing maximum support to the blade, with the rear thrust bearing featuring a slot, further offering stability for the blade. These blade guides have tool free adjustment.
So whether placed into a workshop environment where it will be used all day every day by a variety of staff, or the backyard shed and someone who will use it on weekends, this bandsaw may be small in size, but will surprise with what it can do.
