Simply zero it on your table; then slide the arm to the top of your blade or router bit etc for an extremely accurate height reading. There is no faster; more convenient and precise way to set the height for your work. The generously over-sized magnetic base gives great stability while the L-shaped contact provides reach over larger router bits.
