Leigh finger joint templates use a two flute upcut bits in either High Speed Steel or Solid Carbide, the 162 and 163 cutters have too small a diameter to feature the same spiral cutter as the larger cutters.

This Leigh 163 finger joint bit has a 3/16” cut diameter, with a straight cutter and 1/4 shank.
