The Festool KS 60 is a compact machine that is light weight and very mobile. Its cutting capacity is 305mm x 60mm, making this an ideal saw for the jobsite or home workshop. Its adjustments are quick and easy to use with a very high degree of accuracy.
Fitted with the correct blade(216mm), it is capable of cutting laminates, timbers, aluminium and non-ferrous metals. Mitres can be set to 60° both sides with bevel angles able to be set to 47° or 46°, giving the ability to do otherwise difficult compound mitres in one go.
Combine the basic saw with an LED spotlight, Smart bevel and a raised height to match the height of Festool’s SYS 1 Systainer and you have a versatile go anywhere do anything saw. The Smart Bevel assists with the transferring of angles on the jobsite without marking or measuring. It takes the angle and by positioning on the Kapex, the blade angle is quickly set up, no marking – no measuring. The ability to have the Kapex raised to the height of a standard Systainer means one or more systainers can be used either side of the saw as support making this a super safe saw in all situations.
