All standard drill guides have 3/8" hardened steel drill guides to extend the life of the tool. Drill spacings of 9/16", 7/8" and 17/16" (14.2mm, 22.25mm and 27mm) allows for narrow to wider timbers to be drilled without repositioning, in most cases.
