The largest and most powerful chuck in the NOVA chuck range is also one of the most versatile!
This chuck delivers superior holding power for BIG projects, with three fixing screws for each jaw. It is reverse compatible with all SuperNova2 Jaws (except Infinity), but capable of holding much larger work with the standard 5" Power Jaws included. We have also introduced two more Titan 3 Power Bowl Jaws to further expand your large workholding capacity - a 5.75" Power Jaw and a 6.5" Power Jaw! Their wide face and deep grip are perfect for larger lathes and where secure holding of large stock is a must.
The Titan III Chuck Features a 1-1/4" x 8TPI direct thread. This makes it ideal for any large Lathe that features this thread, such as the Nova Galaxi or Saturn Lathes, and means no insert is required. It is a fully sealed unit with extra long, precision hardened jaw slides with safety stops. The four jaws are fast to adjust via the ball-end T-Bar wrench. Includes the 5" Titan III PowerGrip jaws and Woodworm Screw as standard.
The ideal chuck for those larger to super-sized jobs and larger lathes.
*NB: Titan 3 Power Jaws are not suitable for use on smaller chucks such as the SN2.
