The Robert Sorby 3/8" Sovereign Collet Adaptor has an outside diameter of 5/8Ó to fit into the sovereign handles. The inside 3/8Ó diameter allows for unhandled tools with a shanks of this size to be securely fitted and used in this handle. It also matches 1/4" spindle gouges, fingernail spindle gouges and long and strong spindle gouges.
