Finding somewhere to keep tools in a workshop for most woodworkers can be a problem. With an ever increasing availability of new tools available, and at a more affordable price than ever before. Finding a place for them all is the issue, so Rockler have come up with a way of keeping your router bits together, yet spaced apart so not to get damaged, that can be used almost anywhere, from a vertical surface to a horizontal one like a drawer or shelf.
The polyethylene assists with preventing rust by keeping moisture out, while providing good grip on the shank even on a vertical surface. Each insert will hold either a 1/4" or 1/2" bit and can be spaced apart depending on the diameter of the bits. Simply drill a 5/8" hole and press the ribbed insert into the hole, the ribbed exterior surface keep the inserts in place even on vertical surfaces.
