Robert Sorby’s Captive Ring Tool set is the ideal tool to create bangles, curtain rings and wheels as well as captive rings on goblets. The Robert Sorby Captive Ring set includes four cutters enabling the turner to cut rings of 3/16", 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" from one inexpensive set.
The ring cutter tips are interchangeable and located in a machined slot, giving a positive seating and best angle to create the perfect cut on both sides of the ring.
The 3/4" flat shank firmly locates on the tool rest, giving full control of the tool through the cutting process, important in such a delicate process.
